Aina Rea Aliotta (*1999) lives and works in Zürich. Aina Rea transdisciplinary artist and performer. As a cultural mediator they’re engaged in transformative work across cultural institutions and activist collectives.

After years in theater, they now focus on rememory, exploring lived ambiguities, contrasts and pluralities. The performer approaches their studies of the own body as a critical diagnostic of contemporary power structures and social conditions. Recent works draw on fragments, tales, and rituals shaped by transnational and plural remembrance.

This embodied knowledge informs their participatory approach to critical mediation and teaching. Aina Rea is currently designing and implementing educational formats for the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst in Zurich, primarily for school classes of all ages.
